This aged care facility for Bupa in Upper Hutt consists of three three-storey high apartment buildings. These have been built from AFS Logicwall and concrete floors, with a light weight upper storey. This construction method is both economical and quick to erect.
Throughout the design we worked closely with McKenzie Higham Architects, a number of design/build services contractors and had Early Contract Involvement (ECI) from the main contractor Maycroft. This allowed us to ensure our design was in line with the high standards Bupa expects as well as being efficient to construct.
