The structural steel for the two-way moment frames has arrived on site and the erection progress has begun. The benefit of off-site prefabrication shining through!
As mentioned previously, the final structure will be an innovative hybrid structural system involving two-way steel moment frames and CLT floors. The steel moment frames were chosen to provide flexibility to a highly constrained architectural layout. The CLT floors were chosen to reduce floor depth and reduce onsite carpentry.
